Klystron Testing

Had a period operating an Environmental test chamber.  First with Frank Wilkinson then on my own.

The purpose was to measure the noise generated in the klystron output when subjected to high levels of ultrasonic excitation.

The Klystrons were intended for missile use, with expected high noise levels and accelerations.  The excitation was provided

by a pitzo crystal.

The test were in two parts

a comparison with standard sonic excitation using a siren  and

Klystron certification, including some testing for external companies.
